Sunday night around 6pm in Berkeley County, a South Carolina man was killed when a tractor trailer ran into a dune buggy on Highway 17-A near Moncks Corner. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and coroner’s office are still investigating the fatal crash. A 27-year-old from Bonneau, SC, a passenger in the dune buggy when the accident occurred, died at the scene from his injuries. The South Carolina Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a tragic car accident 8 miles north of Anderson around 4:30pm Saturday. A 31-year-old mother of two was heading down Crestview Road in her 2009 Honda when she collided head-on with a Chevy Astro van. At the time of the crash the mother, a resident of Belton, was traveling with her two young children – her six-month-old son and two-year-old daughter. According to reports, an intoxicated 24-year-old crashed a car into the Rock Hill woman’s duplex around 2:00 am.
