The South Carolina Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a tragic car accident 8 miles north of Anderson around 4:30pm Saturday. A 31-year-old mother of two was heading down Crestview Road in her 2009 Honda when she collided head-on with a Chevy Astro van. At the time of the crash the mother, a resident of Belton, was traveling with her two young children – her six-month-old son and two-year-old daughter. According to reports, an intoxicated 24-year-old crashed a car into the Rock Hill woman’s duplex around 2:00 am. According to South Carolina Highway Patrol officials, two cars collided near the 55 mile marker in Colleton County on northbound on I-95.
