South Carolina Dune Buggy Accident with Semi-Truck Leaves One Dead
Sunday night around 6pm in Berkeley County, a South Carolina man was killed when a tractor trailer ran into a dune buggy on Highway 17-A near Moncks Corner. The South Carolina Highway Patrol and coroner’s office are still investigating the fatal crash. A 27-year-old from Bonneau, SC, a passenger in the dune buggy when the accident occurred, died at the scene from his injuries. On Wednesday, Feb 15th, in the late afternoon, a hit-and-run collision occurred with a school bus at an intersection in Columbia. Reporting 53 for the year 2011, Greenville County had the most traffic deaths. Lexington County and Charleston County came in at a close second and third with 51 and 49.
