The accident occurred at 8:20 a.m. on Georgia Road near Greenville Technical College’s Brashier campus. The bus was transporting 51 Woodmont Middle School students when it was hit head-on by a pick-up driven by Michelle Kaufman, 42, of Simpsonville.
