On Jan. 28, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Columbia will kick off its annual Red Nose Run at 8:00 a.m. The Ronald McDonald House provides a variety of invaluable services to families with children being treated in South Carolina hospitals– from the Ronald McDonald Family Room located in Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital, which serves as a designated space for families to get the respite they need during the treatment of their ill child, to the House itself, which offers families access to nice accommodations during their child’s treatment for little or no money.
